Tim is a lifelong resident of Du Quoin, IL, a town of 6,000 people about 90 miles southeast of St. Louis. He lives there with his wife Stacy. They have 2 sons and 1 grandson. The boss of the house is Lola, a Chocolate Golden Doodle.
He is a sales manager at Vogler Ford in Carbondale where he has worked since 1997.
Tim’s dad started following the Blues in 1967 when Tim was just 3 years old, so he’s been a Blues fan pretty much all of his life. He got more involved during the 2017-18 season when he bought a partial season ticket package and started a blog, recapping every Blues game.
That blog is what led to him joining the staff at Blues Rants.
When he’s not up to his eyeballs in work and hockey, he likes to play golf, spend time with his family and work on home improvement projects.
His favorite hockey memory is watching his dad cheer for the Blues on their annual family trip to a game. “He’s in his 80’s now, and it’s so fun watching him. He gets so excited when the Blues are taking the ice. It was a lifelong dream come true to see them win a Stanley Cup,” Tim said.
His favorite Blues are Jaden Schwartz and Brayden Schenn, the latter of whom he shares a birthday, August 22nd.
