Sarah wears many hats for Blues Rants. Not only does she write great stories, she also is an editor and podcast contributor, as well as the Content Supervisor for the site.
A lifelong St. Louis native, she attended Lindenwood University, and graduated cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in American Studies and English. In high school, she spent two years on her school’s newspaper staff. When she’s not watching or writing about Blues hockey, she works with the US military.
In her spare time, she loves to write, read, play guitar, sing and play with her dog, Hawkeye. She’s an avid concert-goer and loves to travel. Sarah describes herself as a sci-fi and comic book nerd, a decent cook and a video gamer (she sucks at first-person shooters).
She’s been a Blues fan since birth, and joined the Blues Rants staff after reading Chris Moran’s article about “The Perfect Line.” It inspired her so much that she had to join the fun, and has loved writing about her favorite team ever since.
Near and dear to her heart are the military and those in need. That’s why you’ll find her very active in charity events, giving back through many worthy causes. She says the Blues’ Casino Night charity event was so much fun this year that she wants to go back every year from now on. Throughout the year, she also attends the Big Slick Charity event in Kansas City, MO; the Chris Evert-Raymond James Charity Pro Tennis Tournament in Boca Raton, FL; and Race for Hope, a 5K in Washington, DC, that helps raise awareness for brain cancer research.
Sarah follows the St. Louis Cardinals (of course), and the Kansas City Royals are her American League team.
