The San Antonio Rampage (1-5-0) continued to stumble in their first road games of the season, losing two consecutive games to the Manitoba Moose on Friday night and Sunday afternoon.

Friday, October 19: Rampage 1, Manitoba 4
The Rampage fell in their first road contest of the 2018-19 season, a 4-1 loss to the Moose on Friday night. Tanner Kaspick netted the lone goal of the night for San Antonio as Ville Husso stopped 26 of 29 shots in the loss.
Manitoba had goals from Jansen Harkins, Seth Griffith, and JC Lipton in the win.
Sunday, October 20: Rampage 3, Manitoba 6
San Antonio closed out their trip to Canada with a 6-3 loss to the Moose on Sunday afternoon. Mitch Reinke and Nikita Soshnikov scored their first goals of the season for the Rampage but it was not enough.
The Rampage struggled defensively and could not contain Mason Appleton’s three-goal, five-point performance.
- Over the course of two games, the Rampage went 2-for-7 on the power play, breaking a 0-for-20 streak heading into Friday’s contest.
- San Antonio’s defense continues to struggle, allowing 10 goals over the course of two games. That’s an average of 5 goals per game.
The Rampage will play Milwaukee and Rockford before returning to the AT&T Center to face the San Jose Barracuda on Friday night at 7:30 pm Central Time.
